Combine two adjoining rooms into one larger space for a bigger meeting or event using the Crestron touch panel in either room. The panel sends a request to the other room's panel, so you'll need someone available to approve it there before the rooms merge.
Both rooms' panels must be powered on and accessible before you start. If a meeting is already in progress in the other room, check with that room's occupants before combining.
Combine the Rooms
- Tap the Settings icon on the lower toolbar.
- Tap Room Config.
- Tap Combined. The panel sends a request to the panel in the adjoining room.
- Have someone at the other panel tap Allow to accept the request.
- Once accepted, both panels give you access to all sources and destinations in both rooms.
If nobody taps Allow on the other panel within a short time, the request times out and the rooms stay separate. Repeat the steps once someone is available at the other panel.
Troubleshooting
I tapped Combined but nothing happened in the other room
The request likely timed out because nobody was available to tap Allow. Confirm someone is at the other panel, then repeat the steps.
I want to split the rooms back apart
Tap Settings, then Room Config, and select Separate on either panel to split the rooms back into their individual configurations.
