Overview:
The Convening Stairs is a large cascading theater space near the lobby of the School of Medicine. It is designed in a way where it can operate either as a single large space or be combined with the Lobby for a more public display.
This space has a single projector, two cameras, and nine available microphones, and can also be configured to be part of a larger audio envelope that would include Flex A, Flex B, and the Lobby for speakers and events that are spread throughout the first floor.
This article provides a brief outline of the technology available in the space along with the names and locations of specific items. This will be a living document, expanding to encompass not only the equipment within the room but also documentation on best practices and uncommon configurations as well.
